  • Blended Learning: Using interactive online modules before class to enhance learning in class

    Dan Levy, Senior Lecturer in Public Policy and Faculty Chair of the Strengthening Learning and Teaching Excellence (SLATE) Initiative at the Harvard Kennedy School, developed a series of online modules for Advanced Quantitative Methods I, work made possible by teaching fellow Teddy Svoronos and SLATE staff member Mae Klinger.
  • Learning from learning management systems: New ways to engage students through Canvas

    Arthur Applbaum, Adams Professor of Democratic Values, Quinton Mayne, Assistant Professor of Public Policy, and Christopher Robichaud, Lecturer in Ethics and Public Policy piloted the new University-wide learning management system, Canvas, in their spring 2015 courses at the Harvard Kennedy School.
  • Making “Inclass” into a campus-wide educational technology app store

    Awardee will scale the availability of the SEAS educational technology (edtech) app store across the University.
  • Creating real-time connections in online courses

    Awardees evaluated types of interactivity between faculty and students and generated a resource guide of best practices to assist instructors in interacting with online and residential students in Canvas.
  • HLS Teaching and Pedagogical Resources

    Technology and Innovation resources, research resources, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging resources for HLS faculty and teaching staff.
  • HLS Information Technology Services

    ITS supports the multi-platform computing environment at HLS.
  • HKS Strengthening Learning and Teaching Excellence

    Provides confidential consultation services to individual HKS faculty and to HKS faculty groups for professional development purposes. Provides case and curriculum development/materials for public service professional education.
  • HDS Office of Information Technology & Media Services

    Office of Information Technology & Media Services support teaching, learning, research, and administration at HDS.
