Operation Impact Kick-Off Event
This event, took place on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Smith Campus Center. The University-wide kick-off launched a new year of Operation Impact. The event covered the basics of the Pilot Funds and other portions of Operation Impact. The event is useful for networking to find other students with similar interests and innovative ideas. -
Holographic Electricity Toolkit and Curriculum
Awardee will use augmented reality (AR) technology to design tools that allow students to visualize invisible phenomena and support digitally mediated scientific inquiry and knowledge exchanges in makerspaces. -
Best models for blended learning between graduate students and professionals
Awardees will test a series of blended learning modules designed to facilitate collaborative learning between professional and graduate students to highlight best practices in using blended learning to allow collaborative, co-education between professionals and graduate students. -
Developing a Hybrid Interprofessional Education Model to Prepare Students for Cross-Sector Problem-Solving
Awardees will build on the award-winning HarvardX MOOC, “Improving Your Business Through a Culture of Health (COH),” to develop a scalable and transferable pilot module to practice interprofessional (cross-sector) team learning. -
Supporting Virtual Reality Pedagogical Initiatives across Harvard
Awardees will provide virtual reality (VR) equipment, software, and staff training for initiating and supporting innovative VR pedagogical initiatives at the Cabot Science Library VR studio. -
VRsatility
VRsatility seeks to provide educators with an immersive virtual space to practice their interpersonal and pedagogical skills prior to initial engagement with students in order to minimize potentially harmful interactions. -
UDLiterature
UDLiterature is an online literature platform created to solve the problem of student demotivation and disengagement while reading complex texts like Shakespeare. -
Knot.
Case logging, which is required for all procedures, is completely manual and consequently time-consuming, inaccurate, and costly. Knot automates this process and enhances the case log to contain all of the knowledge gained from a procedure, and give residents back their time so that they may instead learn, study, perform research or learn surgeries to better serve their patients. -

ACE seeks to reignite civic engagement nationally by empowering individuals to learn about, participate in, and lead their local communities. -

Harvard Chan Public Health Innovation x Technology Student Forum (PHIT)

HarvardxDesign is a collaborative organization between groups at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, the Harvard Business School and other graduate schools and organizations from across the Harvard community. It aims to leverage expertise within the University by bringing together creative thinkers, design luminaries, professors, experts from various backgrounds, and students to engage, debate and reinterpret the design process for a selected subject. -
AR/VR Alliance
The AR/VR Club connects Harvard students, staff, and faculty exploring the frontiers augmented and virtual reality, provides opportunities and support for students interested in becoming involved in projects and research, and brings cutting-edge technology, content, and demos from industry experts to the Harvard community. The GSD AR/VR Club is a member of the cross-university Harvard AR/VR Student Alliance, the first student group sponsored by the Harvard Innovation Labs. -

The Harvard Big Data Club in GSAS is a graduate student group dedicated to promoting interest in big data analysis, machine learning, and data science tools among members of the GSAS community. The following goals describe the three main pillars of the club: Providing opportunities and tools/resources for graduate students at Harvard to explore interests and develop skills in data analytics regardless of their background and field of study; Establishing a bridge between our student community and data science professionals; Sparking interest for data science and related topics in the Harvard community at large.
