• The Child & Youth Advocates (CYA)

    The Child & Youth Advocates (CYA) seeks to build a community of students interested in a wide variety of issues affecting children and youth, including juvenile justice, child welfare, education, and children’s rights. We aim to heighten awareness and encourage discussion of these issues at HLS, facilitate student involvement with children and youth in our community and beyond, and advocate for children’s rights.

    The BSA is a student organization charged with providing several essential services to the Harvard Law School community: we serve as teaching assistants in the First Year Legal Research and Writing Program, as peer advisers to members of the first-year class and transfer students, and as administrators of the Ames Moot Court competition. Our Mission is to build a community, both among first-year students and among the diverse student body of the Harvard Law School.

    Harnesses the academic and professional resources of Harvard University to facilitate civic engagement in community and economic development projects in underserved communities.
  • Harvard STS Circles

    The STS Circle at Harvard is a group of doctoral students and recent PhDs who are interested in creating a space for interdisciplinary conversations about contemporary issues in science and technology that are relevant to people in fields such as anthropology, history of science, sociology, STS, law, government, public policy, and the natural sciences.

    Created to reaffirm the Kennedy School's commitment to top performance in professional education, ensuring that HKS faculty match their intellectual distinction with a mastery of classroom skills.
  • LEAD

    LEAD convenes to explore the research and practice of Organizational Behavior, Personal Leadership Development, and the Teaching of Leadership. Our three goals are: 1. To enhance our members’ knowledge & practice in these areas, 2. prepare our members for diverse careers 3. encourage ongoing professional and social cross-pollination amongst our members.
  • HGSE Mindful Educators

    The purpose of the HGSE Mindful Educators student organization will be for students to (1) learn and practice the foundations of mindfulness meditation; (2) actively practice self-care during a high-stress academic period; (3) gain a deeper understanding of a practice whose presence in education today is burgeoning; and (4) cultivate a deeper sense of community as a student cohort.
  • HGSE Early Childhood Community

    The HGSE Early Childhood Community is a space for all students interested in early childhood. We aim to engage our community in discussions about early childhood development and education, and to connect students with the resources they need to be change-makers in the field.
