Our Voices Matter

Awardees: Shawon Jackson (HKS) & Keturah Gadson (College)

Summary: The purpose of this project is to teach public speaking and advocacy skills to low-income middle school students of color. We hope that by doing so, we can improve their educational outcomes; and more importantly, we believe this program will help students become critical, compassionate, and socially conscious leaders with the confidence and skills needed to promote social change.
