GenAI in Teaching & Learning Logo

The Harvard Initiative for Learning and Teaching (HILT) is hosting a Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in Teaching and Learning Affinity Group for Harvard affiliates who are seeking to attend small, regular meetings for sharing resources, success, and challenges around the integration of GenAI into teaching and learning.

Our fifth meeting will take place on Tuesday, November 19 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm.

To register for this Zoom Meeting, RSVP here.

The Generative AI in Teaching and Learning TLC Affinity Group invites you to an insightful presentation on students’ use of generative AI tools for learning and research. Join us to hear from Amy Deschenes, the Head of UX & Digital Accessibility at Harvard Library, who will share updated findings from the Harvard Library’s User Research Center (URC).

In Fall 2024, the URC conducted a new survey exploring how generative AI tools, such as ChatGPT, are impacting students’ search and research habits. Amy will present survey insights and showcase video highlights from student interviews, offering a unique look into how tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity are shaping academic work.

Future sessions will be promoted through the HILT Newsletter and to our affinity group membership listserv. More information.
