Zhorai: A Conversational Agent and Curriculum for Teaching Machine Learning

Awardees: Phoebe Lin (GSD), Jessica Van Brummelen (MIT-Engineering), and Galit Lukin (MIT-Engineering)

Summary:  Our project aims to explore the potential of conversational agents as a tool for learning and engagement in K-12 AI education and programming. We hope that by lowering the barrier to entry and required technical expertise, children will not only be better equipped for interacting with intelligent systems such as Amazon Alexa and Siri, but also more knowledgeable about how these systems work and their implications to society.
