What We Learned Teaching Harvard Faculty to Build with AI

This summer the Bok Center's Learning Lab ran four-day, hands-on AI intensives for Harvard faculty, taking them from basic prompting all the way to complex projects in Claude Code. Working from their own syllabi, archives, and data, faculty built teaching and research tools like grading helpers, interactive practice apps for language students, and assistants for qualitative research. In this session we will lead participants through some of the activities faculty did, share what we learned from these sessions, and think together about where this is all heading. No technical background or AI account needed.
