The Future of Teaching and Learning at Harvard: Local and Global Opportunities

Our experiences before COVID and during the pandemic have highlighted new opportunities for Harvard to advance learning experiences for students on and beyond our campus. A University-wide committee, the Harvard Future of Teaching and Learning Task Force, explored these opportunities this past spring and summer. Professors Anand, Long, and Smith will describe potentially transformative opportunities around teaching and learning for Harvard based on the committee work, and include ways to enhance in-person and online education. They will also discuss key questions and challenges that arise as we explore serving broader and different populations. The plenary will be moderated by Provost Alan Garber.
