Engaging Harvard students in education innovation

As a part of HILT's mission to catalyze innovation and excellence in teaching and learning across Harvard, we are exploring meaningfully ways to engage students in our efforts and have made it a priority to better understand how best to convene and fund student innovations in teaching and learning. Based on preliminary conversations with the community, a unique distinction that we have made at the student level, which is divergent from HILT’s efforts thus far, is broadening our scope to address teaching and learning issues at Harvard and beyond.

Help us map Harvard's student teaching & learning organizations

We hope to connect with student organizations comprised of current students from Harvard degree-granting programs and organized by faculty, staff, students, or alumni in the field of education—regardless of whether or not it is an explicit or implicit goal of the organization. At this time, we are purposefully casting a wide net to help us better understand student activities and interests across campus.

If you know of a student organization working on teaching and learning issues, please let us know by filling out this quick Qualtrics survey.

Meet the HILT Student Innovation Strategists

In order to better understand how HILT can engage and support students, we have hired six HILT Student Innovation Strategists (made up of undergraduates, master's, and PhD students) to serve on a strategic think tank.
