  • 2023 HILT Conference

    The 2023 HILT Conference comes at a pivotal time when artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly discussed and experimented with in higher education. AI holds immense potential to enhance personalized learning experiences, automate administrative tasks, and provide data-driven insights to improve educational outcomes. However, its deployment also raises important questions and challenges. It is crucial to address concerns related to privacy, bias, transparency, disinformation, and the impact on human agency and social dynamics within educational settings. Together, we will explore how AI can be designed, implemented, and governed in a way that prioritizes human relationships and connection in education. By considering the ethical and social implications, as well as the affordances, we aim to shape a future where generative AI tools are used to empower learners, support educators, foster inclusivity, and promote a holistic approach to education.

  • 3D Virtual Global Classroom

    The purpose of this project is to develop a 3D Virtual Global Classroom software to make online courses more interesting and interactive between students and instructors. 

  • Operation Impact Kick-Off Event

    This event, took place on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Smith Campus Center. The University-wide kick-off launched a new year of Operation Impact. The event covered the basics of the Pilot Funds and other portions of Operation Impact. The event is useful for networking to find other students with similar interests and innovative ideas.

  • Harvard Chan Public Health Innovation x Technology Student Forum (PHIT)

    PHIT seeks to provide an interactive space for students to gain knowledge, provoke thoughtful discussion, and advocate for innovations and technologies that positively impact global public health. We aim to enable and empower students to develop their ideas and grow their professional networks while exploring developments in the field and learning and sharing opportunities for action.

  • Built Environment & Health Student Consortium at the Harvard Chan School

    The Built Environment & Health Student Consortium (BEHSC) at Harvard Chan aims to promote student-driven innovative research and problem solving in built environment, where complex issues regarding urbanization, population growth and environmental changes challenge our conventional public health approach. Our goal is to provide students with a diverse and interdisciplinary toolkit that facilitates partnerships across sectors and socially just decision making. This consortium strives to generate discussion, create evidence, share narratives and build collaborations concerned with thorough comprehension of built environment and powerful actions for human health.

  • Alumni for Education

    H.A.Ed. is the Harvard Alumni community Special Interest Group focused on Education. It provides a forum for alumni from all schools, disciplines, and professions to share field expertise, research, and ideas. H.A.Ed. encourages engagement, cross-sector partnerships, professional exchanges, and mentorship opportunities for members of the Harvard alumni community. H.A.Ed. enables alumni to stay connected to world class scholars engaged in research and teaching at the University, and helps facilitate the transfer of the usable knowledge generated by the Academy into practice. H.A.Ed. empowers Harvard alumni to make a difference by bringing them together in both conversation and action. H.A.Ed welcomes students and the public to participate in special events.

    LEAD convenes to explore the research and practice of Organizational Behavior, Personal Leadership Development, and the Teaching of Leadership. Our three goals are: 1. To enhance our members’ knowledge & practice in these areas, 2. prepare our members for diverse careers 3. encourage ongoing professional and social cross-pollination amongst our members.

  • HGSE STEAM Team

    STEAM Team is a student-led effort to ignite communications between disparate fields in research, business and industry. Our focus is broad, but our starting point is in uniting the Arts with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). We will collaborate to create learning opportunities for our STEAM Team members, HGSE, and our community.

  • HGSE Rural Educators Alliance

    We intend to create a space for students interested in rural education to discuss some of the challenges facing rural schools today and how we can utilize the tools provided to us through HGSE to be effective change makers in those spaces. Additionally, we will raise awareness throughout HGSE of the conversations around rural schools in order to ensure that all HGSE students have the knowledge of rural schools necessary in order to bring that into their future work.

    HIVE (Harvard GSE Innovation & Ventures in Education) unites students and alumni from across Harvard University around education innovation, providing access to resources, mentors, networks, workshops, and competitions to develop impactful solutions to worldwide education problems. HIVE produces numerous events throughout the year to support Harvard students’ entrepreneurial aspirations e.g. HackED, Business Plan Review Night, Pitch Competition, SiliconValley Trek, Experts-in-Residence Panels, Alumni meetup, MIT-Harvard meetups and more

  • HBS Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition Club

    The student club for Harvard Business School students interested in Entrepreneurship through Acquisition The ETA Club seeks to educate the HBS community about Entrepreneurship through Acquisition, and provide potential searchers with the network and resources needed to succeed.
